Introduction
Maybe this should be called a monologue instead of a blog, since my voice is the only one you will be hearing, at least for now. I’m a simple guy, or at least I believe in simplicity, and the commentary I see in many other blogs I find to be anything but simple and straightforward.
I am not in love with the sound of my own voice, but to keep it simple, I will be the sole contributor for the time being. I am here to help those who are interested in metal work and restoration. I don’t claim to know all the answers, but I always try to do my best.
On the plus side, I do have a lot of practical knowledge, learned from experience, and I will periodically be inspired to pass some of it on to you in these pages, usually as it relates to whatever I may be working on at the moment. I also intend to upload some short instructional metalworking videos for your education or entertainment when time permits.
Unless you have been hiding in a cave, you have probably noticed that the world is changing. The automotive age is entering the twilight phase, like it or not, along with the rest of our civilization. If you want to indulge yourself and enjoy that car you always wanted, there will never be a better time than now. That also holds true for just about anything else you really want to do, especially if it involves petroleum in any way, which is just about everything. Five years ago would have been even better, but who knew? But I digress, this blog is supposed to be all about cars and metalwork, and so it shall be.
